We are pleased to announce that we’ll be supporting Rotakat, a charity based in Darwin by donating sublimated fishing shirts to Young Pirates taking part in the program.
Rotakat teaches young people impacted by Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety how to sail.
A non-for-profit organisation run by the Rotary Club of Darwin North, Rotakat is a really beneficial program for its members. They aim to build the confidence and social skills through the exciting challenge of learning to sail on a Hobie Catamaran.
Rotakat also works with parents in assisting to support their child’s social growth, mental health, and well-being in the best way possible for their family. Whilst family members are grateful for the wonderful support of the Rotakat’s volunteers there is also a great sense of achievement and learning gained by the volunteers in helping the Young Pirates participate in the program.
We are proud to be supporting Rotakat and assist their cause so they can continue their fantastic work and continue to grow.
It would help them out greatly if you can spare 5 minutes and check out their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/darwinrotakat/
Sharing their page will help spread the word for this fantastic organisation and would also be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to providing more details of their adventures over the next few months.
